An opportunity to rest, recharge and upgrade the internal software at this long yoga weekend near London. Relax, nourish and recharge with yoga and mindfulness, long scenic walks and wild swimming .
Four days and nights of yoga and mindfulness, walking, resting, and enjoying having this awesome old manor house, a grade 1 listed property, to ourselves. There is a private swimming pool, walled garden and many fantastic walks, as well as a jetty for wild river swimming (only for the brave). The estate also makes it’s own wine and cheese and has a little farm shop/cafe where you can buy the produce.
There will be 3 sessions of yoga and mindfulness each day plus plenty of free time to enjoy the area including the charming town of Totnes with its shops and cafes which can be reached by the riverside trail.

The house itself is spacious and elegant, with a famous spiral staircase leading to a selection of grand bedrooms with views over the surrounding areas. There are two large group rooms for yoga and meditation practice, and lots of cosy nooks and crannies to hang out. A historic and memorable venue and one of my favourites.

7.30am: Morning tea, optional stretch and Mindfulness practice
10.00 am: Dynamic Flow Yoga
12.30pm: Delicious home cooked veggie lunch with cheese from the Sharpham dairy and salad from the garden
The afternoons are free to relax snooze, stroll, read, enjoy a rejuvenating healing massage or explore the local area.
5.00pm: Slower restorative practices, including yin, pranayama and the long guided relaxation of yoga nidra
7.00pm: Dinner in convivial company, possible a wee class of Sharpham wine.
8.45pm: Optional Mindfulness Meditation
This extra long weekend allows plenty of time for practice and rest, with afternoons free to enjoy the sumptuous surroundings.

Sharpham House, near Totnes, Devon
Established in 1260, on a stunning 550 acre Capability Brown landscaped estate, Sharpham House is set in a majestic location high above the River Dart. The house and gardens exude a sense of peace and tranquillity, with exquisite views, in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty.
Regular trains from Paddington to Totnes take around 3hrs, and Sharpham is 10mins ride from the station. Taxi shares will be available.
