An oasis of calm: restful and nurturing

A gentle class beginning with an easy limbering of the neck, shoulders, spine, hips, ankles and wrists, followed by long held, comfortable and fully supported, seated or reclining poses, which encourage a calming of the nervous system.

When we can relax completely we allow our innate healing system to do what it needs to do.

This workshop is great for anyone who wants to learn to relax deeply (which should be EVERYONE!). No previous experience required.

£14 per class. General packs are valid for this class.

Please arrive at least 5 minutes early for all classes as latecomers may not be admitted once the class is underway.

Try not to eat within 2 hours before a class as it can be uncomfortable. if you are hungry, try something light like a piece of fruit.

Wear comfortable stretchy/loose clothing. you may get hot and possibly cold, so bring a couple of layers.

It is hygienic and advisable to have your own yoga mat, although they are always available to borrow.

Let the teacher know of any injury or condition that may affect your practice.

Please avoid strong scents and perfumes.

As an ex-music journalist I have a huge collection of exotic and esoteric chill-out soundscapes which I sometimes use to evoke a little environmental ambience.
