Learn to teach Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra
This Course is Appropriate for:
Qualified yoga teachers, trainee yoga teachers, aspiring yoga teachers (although please be aware that you won’t be certified to teach classes until you have your 200 hour qualification).
Also for massage therapists, physiotherapists, body workers, counselors… in fact, anyone who works with minds and bodies, and who would like to deepen their understanding of the nervous system, the importance of rest, and the mind-body connection, including those who are keen to practice rest and relaxation at home, or to encourage friends and family to do so.
Stress, Anxiety and Depression are so prevalent in our society, often as a consequence of our culture of being ‘busy’, bombarded by reasons to fill our time with activities and external stimulation that is neither nourishing nor nurturing The practices of Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra help to counter-balance this, guiding us towards clarity, peace and creativity, and ultimately more efficient use of our energy.
This training will take place at Goldendoor Yoga Studio in a small group of up to 10 people to maximise availability of props.

28 contact hours over 4 days (plus 12 hrs self-study for full YAP accreditation). This is an intensive training, with a maximum group size of 10 participants to ensure maximum availability of bolsters! There will twice daily Yoga Nidra practice as well as instruction in:
