An oasis of calm: restful and nurturing
A special extended session of R&R with practices to support our journey into the quiet darkness of Winter. This nurturing class will begin with gentle movements warming and opening the joints.
Followed by long held, comfortable and fully supported, seated or reclining poses, which encourage a calming of the nervous system.
We will complete this restful program with the long, guided meditation of iRest Yoga Nidra or Yogic Sleep…setting intentions for the months ahead and then melting into our natural bliss….
This workshop is great for anyone who wants to learn to relax deeply or needs rest ie EVERYONE. No previous experience required.
Under the specific conditions of Restorative Yoga – when we feel completely safe, supported, warm and comfortable – our bodies are able to relax completely and our innate healing system is enabled.
