An urban retreat experience in which to learn about Restorative Yoga whilst reaping all the benefits of this healing and nourishing practice.
This Course is Appropriate for:
Anyone with an interest in Deep Rest including qualified yoga teachers, trainee yoga teachers, aspiring yoga teachers and also massage therapists, physiotherapists, body workers, counselors… in fact, anyone who would like to deepen their understanding of the nervous system, the importance of rest, and the mind-body connection, including those who are keen to practice stillness and relaxation at home, or to encourage friends and family to do so.
Stress, Anxiety and Depression are so prevalent in our society, particularly in the current climate of uncertainty, and often as a consequence of our culture of being bombarded by reasons to fill our time with activities and external stimulation that is neither nourishing nor nurturing The practice of Restorative Yoga or Deep Rest, helps to counter-balance this, guiding us towards clarity, peace and creativity, and ultimately more efficient use of our energy.

This is a fully interactive and immersive experience tailored to those present. It would be fabulous if you have a willing partner with you on the day who would might be happy for you to practice setting them up in the poses but no worries if not. There will be loads of Restorative practice for ourselves, so you’ll feel like you’ve been on retreat. There will also be instruction in:
