A feast for the Senses
Treat yourself to a little luxury, indulging all the senses as we follow the sun to this wonderfully vibrant location, only 20 minutes from the the bustling souks of Marrakesh, with spectacular views over the snow-capped Atlas Mountains as the backdrop
Tigmi is no ordinary retreat, with meandering courtyard paths leading to secret terraces, charming gardens, two swimming pools, a hammam and steam bath, and a myriad of quiet corners in which to relax and recharge.
There will be twice daily yoga sessions, either on the rooftop terrace or in the covered, air-conditioned studio. Options to explore the glorious Atlas Mountains, or the iconic landmarks and rich history of Marrakesh. Some may choose to do absolutely nothing!
Accommodation is in traditional Berber-styled rooms, intimate and quirky in their design, adorned with handcrafted furnishings, locally woven covers and hangings. All ensuite and stocked with specially made bath and body products.
Vegetarian meals and refreshments will be freshly prepared in the newly fitted kitchens by master-chef Brahim, combining the best of Moroccan and French cuisine, with seasonal produce delivered daily. They are happy to cater for specially requested diets including vegan, pescetarian, diary/gluten free.
Mint tea is particularly popular in Morocco, so make some time to enjoy a cup on the terraces or beside the pool.

08:00: Morning meditation and contemplation followed by waking stretches and stimulating breaths
08.30: buffet style breakfast
09:30: Dynamic Flow Yoga on the rooftop shala or the beautiful covered air-con or heated studio
13:00 Buffet-style lunch
Afternoons are free to enjoy the pools or the hammam, explore the local area or indulge in a rejuvenating massage treatment. There is a complimentary shuttle bus to and from Marrakesh
17:00: A gentle Restorative practice and maybe some deeper work on hips or shoulders, including Yin, Yoga Nidra (guided relaxation) and breathing exercises (pranayama) followed by a quiet moment of contemplation as the sun sets
There will be one afternoon off for adventures further afield.
19:00: Fabulous 3 course dinner cooked by our fantastic chef

Tigmi, Douar Tagadert el Kadi
The nearest airport is Marrakech-Menara Airport (RAK). Around 40 international airlines fly into the airport. A taxi from Marrakech Airport should cost around 250DH/ £20/ €23 and will take approximately 30 minutes.
Flights – EasyJet, Ryannair ,British Airways, and Wizz fly direct from UK. Flying time is approximately 3hr45
Transfers – Saturday is travel day and yoga sessions start on the following morning. The transfer from the airport is around 30minutes. Airport pickup can be arranged.
Passport and visa regulations There is no visa requirement for UK citizens to enter Morocco for up to a 90-day tourist visit. Other nationalities should check requirements.
Your passport needs to be valid for a further six months from the date of entry to Morocco.

If the retreat or event is cancelled by the organiser:
If we need to cancel a trip or training for our own reasons, we will refund all deposits and payments in full (minus £50 admin fee). We cannot however compensate you for airfare or travel costs. In the unlikely event that the retreat or event is cancelled due to weather, natural disaster or political upheaval, we cannot guarantee a refund – it will be dependent on receiving a refund from the venue / tour operator we work with. To cover these eventualities, we highly recommend you purchase travel insurance.
Travel Insurance:
It is highly recommended to purchase travel insurance. Travel Insurance can protect you financially and offer peace of mind in case:
• you cancel your participation in the retreat or event
• retreat or event is cancelled due to weather, natural disaster
• lost baggage
• medical expenses and the cost of repatriation should you become ill or injured
If the advertised teacher is unable to attend for any reason we will provide an alternative and equally well-qualified teacher.
Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays or illness.
If you cancel your participation in a retreat or event for any reason, the cancellation policy below will apply. We wish we could compensate people for unforseen circumstances (injury, family emergency, etc) and we have designed our cancellation policy to be as compassionate as possible in the case that your plans change. To protect yourself further, we strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance.
For residential retreats:
Up to 60 days prior to the start of the event: full refund (excluding deposit/admin fee).
60 – 30 days prior to the start of the event, provided your place is filled by another person, you may transfer the full credit (excluding deposit) to future events organized by Dina Cohen within the next 12 months from cancellation.
Less than 30 days prior to the start of the event, no refunds or credits, however you may transfer your credit (excluding deposit) to another person for the same event.
