An early summer adventure at this wonderfully vibrant location, in a forested conservation area, overlooking the Sulungur Lagoon with spectacular views over the beautiful Dalyan Delta and across to Istuzu (turtle) Beach.
This family run established venue from long term retreat owners Hazur Vadisi, offers peace and privacy, immersed in nature, creating a wonderful atmosphere conducive to forest bathing, tuning into birdsong and the hum of cicadas or soaking up the rays from their private beach on the lagoon, just 15 minutes walk away. A short bus ride will take you into the charming riverside town of Dalyan, with its selection of interesting craft shops, cafes and restaurants.
A 5-minute bus ride in the opposite direction will take you to Istuzu, a long, sandy beach in the conservation area where Loggerhead turtles come to lay their eggs. Visits to the nearby ruins of ancient Kaunos, a trip to the lakeside mud baths, a boat trip along the coast and excursions further afield can be arranged for those feeling more adventurous.
The Lagoon Retreat has unbeatable views, serene sunsets, comfortable well-appointed ensuite accommodation, a pool over-looking the sea and a fully equipped yoga shala. Afternoons are free to enjoy the pool or the beach, explore the local area or indulge in a rejuvenating massage treatment.
17:00: A gentle restorative practice and maybe some deeper work on hips or shoulders, including Yin, Yoga Nidra (guided relaxation) and breathing exercises (pranayama) followed by a quiet moment of contemplation as the sun sets
There will be one day off for adventures further afield.
19:00: Fabulous vegetarian dinner cooked by our private chef

TRAVEL
Flights – The flight from Gatwick to Dalaman is 4.5 hours. The following companies fly to Dalaman: British Airways, TUI, Easyjet, Turkish Airlines, Pegasus, Sun Express.
Transfers – Saturday is travel day and yoga sessions start on the following morning. The transfer from the airport is 25 minutes.
Transfer prices depend on the number of passengers. Generally, it works out at around £30 each way if arriving as a group, but if there are a lot of individual arrivals, it can be as much as £45 each way. We charge per person and average the price of the costs, so everyone pays the same. It is worth checking with me before booking your flight to see when others are arriving to keep transfer costs down.
Passport and visa regulations There is no longer a requirement for UK citizens to have a visa to enter Turkey for up to a 90-day tourist visit. Other nationalities should visit www.evisa.gov.tr for further information. Your passport needs to be valid for a further six months from the date you depart from Turkey.
