SO SORRY THIS RETREAT IS FULLY BOOKED

Nourishing ourselves from the inside out (and the outside in) and soaking up the last of the summer rays to sustain us through the change of seasons. This spectacular villa, nestled above the scenic cove of Aigua Blava on the North Eastern coast of Spain, is known for it’s year-round mild and sunny climate.

The villa is walking distance from Begur,  a lively Catalan village with a great selection of restaurants and shops, and  it’s Medieval castle perched above, looking out over the coastline. The house itself has been purpose built by a French/Spanish Yoga instructor as a family project to provide everything one might want on a  relaxing yoga holiday:  in a quiet and serene spot, close to the beach, private saltwater pool, surrounded by walking trails with amazing views over the cliffs and coves.

The Eco Villa and Accommodation have been designed to create a quality for well-being: timber structure, green roofs and insulated cabling to obtain an optimal sound, thermal and electro magnetic protection with low impact on the environment.

The hundred square meter Yoga Shala  benefits from natural shaded light and open sea view across a fully glazed facade. It has also been built in the golden ratio proportions with a double-pitched roof and timber structure.

Healthy Vegetarian meals are plentiful, freshly cooked, organicly grown or locally sourced.

The Begur coast enjoys a shoreline of unparalleled beauty, whose cliffs, pines, crystal waters and its abrupt coastline, make this area one of the most characteristic of the Costa Brava. Begur has eight coves and beaches, located to the North, East and South of the town, with different characters and completely different kinds of natural beauty. One of them is Aiguablava where VILLA PI BLAU is located.

If you like hiking , there are a number of walking trails to enjoy forest walks or the Begur coastline with amazing views over the cliffs and coves.

TRAVEL

Flights to Barcelona or Girona  – BA, Easyjet, Vueling, Iberia, Ryanair

Pick-ups from Barcelona Airport at around 17:00 on the 24th Sept
Please try to arrive in plenty of time in case of flight delays.

Drop off  at Barcelona Airport (or somewhere in town) at around 14:00 on the 29th Sept so please arrange flights departing no earlier than 15:00

If necessary I will organise an earlier and/or later pickups/drop-off to cover all eventualities but it will be considerably cheaper if we are in a larger group.

The town itself has kept its numerous colonial-style houses, charming streets and cobbled alleyways, testament to a long and intense history in which pirates, sailors, coral gatherers, fishermen and wealthy emigrants returned from overseas.

Other nearby medieval villages are also worth a visit: Pals, Peratallada or the former fisherman’s town of “Calella de Palafrugell”.

We also highly recommend the Salvador Dali route, the best way to discover the great work of this famous 20th century artist. In Figueras, you will find the Dali museum. And in Port lligat, a small town close to Cadaques you can visit his home.
